Transforming learning through technology and innovative educational models.
Explore Our InitiativesOur new incubator supports innovative startups focused on transforming education through technology and new learning models. In its first year, the incubator has supported 12 promising ventures addressing challenges from early literacy to workforce skills development.
Each selected venture receives seed funding ranging from $250,000 to $1 million, along with access to our network of education experts, research facilities, and implementation partners. Our comprehensive support includes product design guidance, efficacy research assistance, go-to-market strategy development, and introductions to potential pilot sites and customers.
The current cohort includes ventures developing AI-powered literacy tools that adapt to individual learning patterns, immersive virtual reality environments for STEM education, platforms connecting students with real-world mentors, and systems that make personalized learning accessible in low-resource settings. Preliminary results show these innovations are increasing student engagement by an average of 35% and improving learning outcomes across diverse educational contexts.
Learn MoreOur Adaptive Learning Initiative is developing and implementing personalized learning systems that adjust to individual student needs in real-time. These systems use AI to identify knowledge gaps, learning preferences, and optimal challenge levels for each student, delivering customized content and activities accordingly.
We've partnered with 28 schools serving diverse student populations to implement these systems and rigorously evaluate their impact. Results demonstrate significant improvements in academic achievement, with the greatest gains observed among previously underperforming students. The initiative is now focused on making this technology more accessible and effective in resource-constrained educational environments.
The Future Skills Academy is reimagining secondary and post-secondary education to better prepare students for rapidly evolving career landscapes. Working with industry partners, educators, and policy experts, we've developed and implemented curriculum models that integrate academic content with future-ready skills like critical thinking, collaboration, digital literacy, and entrepreneurship.
Our network of 15 academy sites across 8 countries serves as living laboratories for educational innovation, testing and refining approaches before sharing them with the broader educational community. Graduates of these programs demonstrate exceptional readiness for both higher education and workforce entry, with 94% either employed or pursuing further education within six months of completion.
This research initiative explores how digital technologies can enhance early childhood education while supporting healthy development. Our interdisciplinary team of developmental psychologists, educators, and technologists is conducting longitudinal studies on the effects of various digital learning approaches on cognitive, social, and emotional development.
The research has produced evidence-based guidelines for age-appropriate technology use in early learning settings, which have been adopted by educational authorities in multiple regions. We've also developed prototype applications that demonstrate how digital tools can support key developmental milestones while fostering parent-child interaction and reducing screen time.
